Have a look at a few sites I've worked on ...
I particularly enjoy working with websites/multimedia,
because it’s
challenging and interesting, and combines the various writing
skills
I've developed in my career so far.
Scroll down to see some recent www. sites I've
worked on,
which I've had a lot of input into and reflect the range of work I do.
I also have an ongoing web editing/writing role for several
clients,
and I do a lot of QA type work - checking spelling and
grammar,
formatting text, checking links - often working in a CMS environment.
Check out my
CV for more info and links to other work.

BRANZ
A site refresh launched in October 2008, I created the site structure
and edited the content. This was a very useful way to get my head around
the CMS, so I could train various BRANZ staff to take on the
editing/content loading role. |

Science
Learning Hub
I'm the style editor for this comprehensive website for the science
teaching and learning community and its sister site, the New
Zealand Biotechnology Learning Hub - well worth a browse. New
contexts are added regularly. |

Department
of Building and Housing website
This is an August 2006
relaunch, which successfully integrates several older sites. I
polished most of the content, and undertook QA of most of the site prior
to launch. |

Access
to Justice
This is an educational
section of the main Courts site, targeted at school students, but
interesting info for anyone interested in the judicial system. (I
structured and wrote/edited the content.)

www.tributes.co.nz
I polished the content for this
site, which involved providing some input into the online registration
process - a great concept, I think.

Circuit
Breaker Workbook
I structured and wrote
this online guide to problem solving for the New Zealand State
Services Commission, working from a variety of content sources.

www.customs.govt.nz
The site was a redesign, which I think came out
really well. I really enjoyed the challenge of crafting specific
technical messages for a wider audience.
